Slash commands

The / button under the chat's message box opens a menu of the agent's slash commands, so you can run them with one tap instead of typing them on a phone keyboard. This page lists what is in it for each agent.

Using the menu

Tap / to open Commands. Each row shows a short description and the command. Type in Search commands to filter by either. Tap a row to send the command to the agent, typed and followed by Enter.

• Rows marked dialog open an interactive screen in the agent. Melta opens the live screen panel with them, so you can move through the dialog with the arrow, number and Return keys.
• Rows with an arrow have presets. Tap to expand, then pick a preset, or Open picker… to open the agent's own picker in the live screen.

You can also type any slash command in the message box. Text that starts with / is typed into the agent and Enter is pressed. If you type one of the dialog commands on its own, the live screen opens too.

The list is built into Melta. It is not read from your agent, so a command your agent version does not have is still typed into it as is.

Claude Code

The /model presets send /model fable, /model opus, /model sonnet, /model haiku or /model default. The menu labels them Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Haiku 4.5 and Default.

Other agents

Gemini CLI panes get /model (dialog), /compress, /clear, /stats, /help and /quit. Any other agent gets a short list: /help and /model (both dialogs) and /clear.
