Before you write
Most connection problems are one of a handful of things. These guides cover them:
- Fix SSH from your phone: permission denied, timeouts, host key changed, and reconnects.
- Tailscale SSH from iPhone or Android: reaching your computer from any network.
- Run Claude Code from your phone: the whole setup, start to finish.
- Windows setup: running the setup command inside WSL.
- Herdr cheat sheet: keys, commands and what the agent statuses mean.
What helps us help you
- Your phone and its iOS or Android version, and the Melta version from Settings.
- Your computer: macOS, Linux or Windows with WSL, and the output of
herdr --version. - The connection log. Open the computer in Melta, tap the status line under its name, and copy what it shows.
- What you expected and what happened instead. A screenshot helps.
Please leave out private keys, passwords and anything from your terminal you would not want us to read.
Your account and data
- Delete your account and everything linked to it.
- Privacy policy: what stays on your phone and what our server keeps.
